Jeep M201 for Sale

The Hotchkiss M201, often called the "French Jeep," is the Willys-licensed version built by Hotchkiss at its plant in Stains, near Paris. Directly derived from the American Willys MB, it closely follows the original design, with a few adaptations for the French army.

Produced from 1955 to 1966 in around 27,600 units, the M201 became the French army's standard light vehicle for nearly three decades, from Indochina and Algeria through the Cold War. It is therefore not a World War II vehicle itself, but the direct heir of the Jeep that defined that conflict — a chapter of history just as sought-after by collectors of French military equipment.
